Since 2003, most Turnbridge clients have been referred by private practitioners. Our integrated treatment system protects and respects clients, families, and referring professionals. Turnbridge offers comprehensive, clinically driven short-term residential programs specializing in teens 14 – 17 experiencing mental health or substance use disorders. These gender-specific programs aim to achieve diagnostic clarity and establish an effective treatment plan trajectory.

Programming Overview
- Clients: Teens 14 – 17 and family members
- Conditions treated: Depression, anxiety, personality disorders, oppositional defiance, substance use disorders, suicidal ideation, disordered eating, and more. (Pre-admission assessment determines clinical fit.)
- Integrated Care: psychiatry, nursing, psychology, psychometrics, academic programming, family system programming, recreation, nutrition, and case management
- Gender-Specific Programs: Separate housing and programming for clients identifying as boys and girls
- Short-Term Residential: Approximately 30- to 45-day length of stay
- Exceptionally Qualified Clinical Team: Highly experienced adolescent specialists, licensed clinicians, Yale School of Medicine training site
- Coordinated Academic Support: Neuropsychological and neurological assessment coordination, school system communication and learning support advocacy
- Available Care Continuum: Turnbridge offers extended residential programs for clients requiring more attention
